Dani Tran

Environmental Scientist

Dani Tran is an experienced environmental scientist currently employed at CDM Smith since September 2017, where responsibilities include leading research and treatability studies utilizing UV and electrochemical oxidation, as well as proficiency with various laboratory equipment such as IC, GC-FID, GC-MS, and TOC. Prior to this role, Dani worked as a laboratory technician at DirectAMS, supporting sample processing for radio carbon dating, and served as a hydrology research assistant and administrative assistant at the University of San Francisco, gaining experience in both lab and fieldwork related to hydrology and managing office communications. Dani holds a Master of Natural Resources with a focus on water conflict management and transformation from Oregon State University and a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science with a minor in Chemistry from the University of San Francisco.
