Daniel Begert is a seasoned transportation planner with extensive experience in traffic and revenue forecasting. Currently serving as the Senior Traffic and Revenue Forecasting Lead at CDM Smith since March 2013, Daniel has previously held positions as an Associate Planner at the Springfield-Sangamon County Regional Planning Commission, a Research Specialist at the UIC Energy Resources Center, a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the UIUC Department of Urban & Regional Planning, and a Complete Streets and Bicycle Planning Intern with The League of Illinois Bicyclists. Daniel began the career as a GIS Specialist at Resource Technologies Incorporated. Daniel holds a Master of Urban Planning from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies with a Geology Minor from The University of Kansas.
