David Steinberg, EIT, is a Transportation Engineer at CDM Smith since June 2022, having previously served as a Transportation Planning Intern at the same company in 2021. David's experience includes a Transit and Rail Co-Op at VHB, where responsibilities encompassed calculating track geometry and performing earthwork estimations, along with research on micromobility policies for the MBTA. Prior to that, David worked as a Design and Traffic Co-Op at McMahon Associates, Inc., focusing on traffic impact studies and roadway plans, and as a Land Development Planning and Permitting Co-Op at Howard Stein Hudson, where transportation studies and vehicle analysis were key tasks. David holds a Master’s degree and Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Transportation from Northeastern University, completed in 2022 and 2020, respectively.
