Derek Kosydar

Derek Kosydar is an Environmental Engineer 2 at CDM Smith since June 2022, bringing strong skills in environmental engineering to the role. Previously, Derek held positions as a Front Desk Associate at Barry's from January 2023 to March 2024, where responsibilities included assisting clients and managing studio operations. Derek also gained valuable experience as a structural engineering intern at Gannett Fleming during the summer of 2021, focusing on data management and structural modeling for bridge and roadway projects. Earlier summer internships at Moss & Associates provided insights into the solar energy industry, and a role as a lifeguard and swim instructor at Oak Crest Day Camp spanned five years. Derek holds a degree in Environmental Engineering from Clemson University, completed in 2022, and graduated from Hillsborough High School in 2018.
