Eric Kalmbach

Eric Kalmbach is a Senior Civil Engineer and Team Leader at CDM Smith, where they lead development assistance and infrastructure projects across Europe, Africa, and Asia. Previously, they served as Business Unit Manager at Cardno from 2005 to 2016, successfully expanding an engineering consulting business in Papua New Guinea that achieved double-digit growth. Eric began their career as a Civil Engineer at Ingenieurbüro Willaredt from 2002 to 2005. They hold a Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering from Hochschule Karlsruhe and a Postgraduate Diploma in Infrastructure Engineering and Management from Monash University, along with a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from Ulster University.
