Heather Grant

Heather Grant is an experienced Environmental Engineer currently working at CDM Smith since August 2023. Previously, Grant served as a Lead Consultant at WSP USA, where responsibilities included engineering and project management for a copper mine project in central Nevada, functioning as both Deputy Project Manager and Task Lead. Prior roles included Senior Engineer at Wood and Project Engineer at Contractor Services Group, Inc., overseeing federal project submittals and permits. Earlier, Grant worked as a Technical Writer at Technical Safety Services, Inc., producing reports for various equipment testing and certification. Grant began a career as a Project Engineer at SCS Engineers, conducting Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) and preparing SPCC Plans. Grant holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from California State University, Chico, and an Associate of Science in Engineering from Yuba College.
