John Stults

Environmental Engineer

John Stults, PhD, is an Environmental Engineer at CDM Smith since May 2022, specializing in the study of Per-fluorinated alkyl substances (PFASs) in groundwater systems. John holds a Doctor of Science in Environmental Engineering from Colorado School of Mines, where research focused on the reactive transport of PFASs. Prior experience includes serving as a PhD Research Assistant at Colorado School of Mines, a Graduate Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at the University of Colorado Boulder, and various roles in environmental assessment and logistics at companies such as OtterTail Environmental, Intel Corporation, and Fair Share Alliance. John earned a Master’s Degree in Environmental and Water Resources Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Civil-Environmental Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder and the University of Portland, respectively.
