Jonathan Loo is an experienced structural engineer with a focus on flood control projects for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) and various structures in the water and wastewater treatment industries at CDM Smith since June 2020. Previously, as the Structural Engineering Lead at Primera Engineers, Jonathan was responsible for the Engineer of Record duties for structural work related to substations and educational facilities. Prior roles include designing process facilities and oil refineries at Middough, working on wastewater industry structures at Klein and Hoffman, and serving as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Jonathan holds a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, along with a Graduate Certificate in Biblical Studies from Moody Bible Institute.
