Lena Rivera

Lena Rivera, PE, D.WRE, PMP, is an experienced Regional Manager at CDM Smith since October 2020, previously serving as the Director of Public Works and Utilities for the City of Winter Springs from September 2017 to October 2020. In this role, Lena directed a team of 60 employees and managed a $25 million budget for water, wastewater, reclaimed water, stormwater utilities, and transportation services. Prior to this, Lena was at CDM Smith from 2001 to 2017 as a Principal Water Resources Engineer, Group Leader, and Project Manager, leading a group of 12 engineers and scientists while focusing on departmental quality and profitability. Lena holds a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Water Resources from Duke University and a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering from the University of Central Florida.
