Liza Amar

Liza Amar, PE, AICP, has extensive experience in transportation planning and engineering, currently serving as a Technical Delivery Manager at CDM Smith since July 2006, where leadership roles include Associate Discipline Leader for Multimodal Operations and Forecasting and Regional Team Leader overseeing over 35 professionals across Texas, Kansas City, and Denver. Previously, Liza managed teams in the Houston office and developed travel demand models while working at the Institute for Transportation Research and Education and North Carolina State University. Liza's educational background includes a Master’s and a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, both from North Carolina State University.
