Michael Bellamy

Michael Bellamy currently serves as a Construction Specialist I (Project Engineer) at CDM Smith since August 2024, providing technical support to construction teams, interpreting regulatory requirements, and ensuring cost-effective resource use while maintaining accurate project records. Prior experience includes roles as an Event Set-Up & Support Staff at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, Construction Intern at CDM Smith, and a Global Engineering Leadership Program Student Researcher, where engagement with international peers focused on engineering challenges. Additional experience includes positions such as Youth Employment Staff Member with the City of Raleigh Municipal Government and Apprentice with the ACE Mentor Program, developing architectural and engineering plans. Michael Bellamy holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, complemented by a High School Diploma from Southeast Raleigh High School’s Engineering Academy.
