Shakoor Bitar is a freelance water, wastewater, and environmental consultant with extensive experience in quality control, project management, and environmental assessments. Since 2018, Bitar has been self-employed, providing expertise in the preparation of project identification studies and the construction management of water projects. Previously, they served as the Head of the Water Department at Nablus Municipality from 1986 to 1995 and have held various engineering roles in notable organizations, including CDM Smith and CHF International. Shakoor holds a Master of Science in Water Quality and Wastewater Treatment Management from the University of Jordan and a Higher Diploma in Water Resources Engineering from Imperial College London.
