Sherry Young

Sherry Young, PE, CFM is an experienced Environmental Engineer currently employed at CDM Smith since October 2018. Prior to this, Sherry held positions as a Project Engineer at Wang Technology LLC, where responsibilities included implementing geotechnical and structural instrumentation for significant transportation projects and conducting extensive building condition surveys. Sherry's career also includes roles as Project Lead at Pacific Telecom Services, where site assessments for wireless projects were performed, and as a Structural Engineer at URS Corporation, focusing on seismic evaluations and structural integrity analysis for various infrastructure. Sherry began as a Junior Engineer at Zone 7 Water Agency, managing flood project initiatives, and started the professional journey as an Engineering Intern at SFPUC. Sherry obtained a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
