Soojung Kim

Soojung Kim is a Design Automation Manager at CDM Smith, where they focus on optimizing design workflows through automation using a variety of technologies including Dynamo, Grasshopper, Python, and C#. Previously, they worked as a BIM Research Assistant and Graduate Teaching Assistant at The University of British Columbia from 2015 to 2017, and as an Energy Analysis Researcher at the Center of Sustainable Building at Yonsei University from 2014 to 2015. Soo's extensive experience includes roles as a Building Technologist and BIM Manager at Stantec, as well as working as a BIM Assistant during a co-op at Alberta Infrastructure in 2016. They began their career at Hanwha Engineering & Construction, serving in various capacities from 2012 to 2014, including Assistant Site Supervisor and Intern Designer.
