Steve Salter

Steve Salter is an accomplished transport planning professional with extensive experience in leading transportation initiatives and strategies across various organizations. Currently serving as the Parking Technical Lead at CDM Smith since April 2020, Steve oversees the technical aspects of the Qatar Parking Master Plan. Prior roles include Senior Transport Planner at WorleyParsons, where project management was focused on the Qatar Transport Masterplan, and Senior Transportation Land Use Planner for the ArRiyadh Development Authority, advising on various transportation strategy matters. Steve has also contributed as Network Planning Manager for the Riyadh Bus Project, Associate Director at WSP Middle East, and Transport Strategy Manager at Brent Council, where long-term strategies for transport systems were developed. With a strong background in public transport and transport policy, Steve graduated with an MSc in Transport Planning & Engineering from the University of Southampton.
