Steve Whiteside is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in the fields of geotechnical and civil engineering. Currently serving as the Senior Vice President and Discipline Leader for Dams and Levees at CDM Smith since May 2000, Steve previously held the position of Vice President at GEI Consultants, Inc., where responsibilities included senior geotechnical and civil engineering as well as branch office management from August 1976 to March 2000. Steve holds a Master of Science and Engineer Degrees in Geotechnical Engineering from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Duke University.
