Project Lead Groundwater Remediation at CDM Smith

Sven Arnold has a diverse range of work experience in the field of environmental consulting and research. Sven started their career as a Research Assistant at UFZ in 2006, where they worked until 2010. Following this, they joined The University of Queensland as a UQ Postdoctoral Research Fellow, holding the position until 2013. Sven then worked as an Environmental Consultant at The University of Queensland Centre for Mined Land Rehabilitation from 2013 to 2015. Sven further continued their research career as a Research Project Lead at The University of Queensland Centre for Water in the Minerals Industry from 2015 to 2017. Currently, Sven is employed at CDM Smith as a Project Lead Groundwater Remediation since 2018.

Sven Arnold holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Ecohydrology from Friedrich Schiller University Jena, which they pursued from 2006 to 2009. Prior to that, they completed their Master of Science (MS) in Geoecology at TU Bergakademie Freiberg between 2000 and 2006. In addition to their formal education, Sven Arnold has obtained additional certifications such as "Project Management Foundations: Small Projects" from LinkedIn, acquired in November 2019, and the "Verified Peer Reviewer" certification from Publons, without specifying the month and year of acquisition.
