Jonah Haekel

Jonah Haekel is a Control System Specialist at CDN Controls Ltd | Exile Automation since October 2019, specializing in the development and maintenance of Ignition Perspective SCADA systems for both Brownfield and Greenfield assets, with experience managing over one million tags via MQTT Sparkplug B and OPC-UA. Previously, Jonah served as an Automation Technician, integrating and maintaining various SCADA systems while developing programs for Allen Bradley PLCs and other RTUs. Jonah's experience also includes working as a Journeyman Instrumentation and Controls Technician at Intricate Group Inc., where responsibilities involved leading small projects, training apprentices, and conducting maintenance runs in challenging environments. Jonah holds a Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering Technology from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology, completed in 2016, and graduated from Ardrossan Jr/Sr High in 2014.
