Janine M. Jurkowski

Janine Jurkowski is currently the Chair of the Department of Health Policy, Management, & Behavior at the University at Albany, SUNY, and a Professor at the University at Albany School of Public Health. They have held various academic roles, including Associate Professor and Associate Dean of Public Health Practice, and served as a Provost Fellow for Public Engagement, where they contributed to the development of tenure and promotion guidelines. Janine also serves on the Board of Directors for CDPHP. They earned a PhD in Public Health from the University of Illinois Chicago.
