Marcia Torrico

Marcia Torrico, PhD, is a Data Science Manager and Senior Data Scientist at CDPHP since September 2019. In this role, Marcia developed an Event Driven Framework for NLP applications and automated the ingestion and preprocessing of unstructured data while supporting various business applications like risk adjustment coding. Previous experience includes projects on sentiment analysis and fraud detection at Galvanize Inc, and significant contributions to data science at Qualcomm, where Marcia implemented advanced regression algorithms and automated analysis processes. Marcia's academic foundation includes a PhD, Master’s, and Bachelor’s degrees in Electrical Engineering, all obtained from the University at Buffalo.
