Yini Gao

Yini Gao, CFA, CPA, is currently a Vice President at CD&R, where they have been since 2025. Previously, Yini held the position of Vice President at Wafra from 2019 to 2022, overseeing fund finance, accounting, operations, and GP/management company accounting. They gained valuable experience at Goldman Sachs as an Associate from 2018 to 2019 and completed a summer internship as a Global Data Financial Analyst at Bloomberg LP in 2013. Yini began their professional journey at KPMG US, serving as an Audit Associate from 2014 to 2016. They are pursuing a Master's Degree and a Bachelor's Degree at Tulane University’s A.B. Freeman School of Business and completed the Chief Financial Officer Program at Columbia Business School in 2023.
