Brian Harless serves as the Company Sergeant Major for A Co 5/19 Special Forces Company since November 2019. With a diverse military background, Brian has held significant leadership roles, including Command Sergeant Major for the Texas Counterdrug Task Force since August 2006 and for Special Operation Detachment Africa from February 2016 to December 2019. Prior positions include Operations Sergeant 18Z for C1/19 SFG from August 2011 to February 2016. Brian holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in International Business from Southeastern Oklahoma State University, obtained between 1992 and 2004.
