Larry Burke

Larry Burke, PhD, serves as an Assistant Professor at Elon University in the Martha and Spencer Love School of Business since August 2024. With extensive experience in the risk management and data security fields, Larry has held the position of Principal and Vice President in the Global Security Strategy Office at CDW since September 2022. Additionally, Larry is the Managing Partner at Burke & Associates CPAs LLP, providing SOC and HITRUST services since 2018. As a Principal at Focal Point Data Risk, established from a merger of multiple firms, Larry contributes to a comprehensive approach to data risk management. Prior roles include Partner at Sunera LLC, Chief Financial Officer at ED Care Management, and various financial leadership positions in other organizations. Larry holds a PhD in Business from Florida Atlantic University, along with a Master's degree in Taxation from Florida International University and dual bachelor's degrees in Accounting and English Literature from the University of South Florida.
