Tola Sobitan

Tola Sobitan is a strategic and innovative leader with over 16 years of experience in privacy law, data security, and healthcare compliance across public, non-profit, and private sectors. Tola served as an Assistant Attorney General at the Illinois Attorney General's Office from 2010 to 2014 and has held several key roles, including VP, Chief Privacy Officer, and Assistant General Counsel at Alight Solutions from 2020 to 2023. Currently, Tola is the Director of Privacy at CDW, after previously serving as Senior Legal Counsel, Privacy Officer, and Interim Security Officer at the YMCA of the USA from 2016 to 2018, and Associate General Counsel & Privacy Officer at the Illinois Department of Human Services from 2014 to 2016. Tola earned a BA in Sociology from the University of Minnesota-Morris and a JD from the University of Illinois College of Law.
