Sylvain Barraud

Sylvain Barraud is a highly experienced Senior Integration Engineer at CEA, with a career spanning over two decades since January 2001. Expertise includes advanced CMOS technology, In-Memory-Computing, and biosensors, contributing to the fabrication of biologically sensitive Si Nanowire Field-Effect-Transistors for electrical label-free DNA hybridization detection. Sylvain Barraud has also focused on process integration for various types of MOSFET devices and junctionless transistors. Prior to CEA, Sylvain Barraud attained a PhD in Microelectronics from Paris-Sud University, conducting theoretical studies on the effects of impurities in sub-100nm MOSFET channels through 3D Monte-Carlo simulations.
