Bertrand Bourlon

Bertrand Bourlon is an accomplished professional in the field of physics and engineering with extensive experience in research and project management. Currently serving as Head of Laboratory at CEA-Leti since May 2012, Bertrand has also held the roles of Project and Program Manager and Project Manager at the same institution. Previous experience includes serving as a Senior Physicist/Project Leader at Schlumberger, where Bertrand oversaw projects on lab-on-a-chip gas analysis sensors and MEMS technology-based chromatography. Bertrand's academic background includes a PhD in Physics from Ecole normale supérieure and a Diplome d'ingénieur in Physics and Chemistry from ESPCI Paris - PSL. Early career experience also includes a postdoctoral research position at the California Institute of Technology and a research internship at Philips Healthcare.
