Catherine Peyne has extensive experience in engineering and technical support within the semiconductor and chemical industries. Catherine began career as a Research Engineer at Scottish Microelectronics Centre from 1994 to 1996, focusing on IC integration and chemical cleaner testing. From 1996 to 1999, Catherine worked as a Development Engineer at Ekc Technology Inc, specializing in specialty chemicals for polymer removal. Following this, Catherine served as a Process Engineer at Semitool from 1999 to 2003, providing European technical customer support and process qualification. Catherine continued in a similar role at Alchimer from 2003 to 2010. Since January 2011, Catherine has been employed as a Fluids and Waste Treatments Expert at LETI. Educational qualifications include a DESS in Analyses et Traitement des surfaces from Université de Reims Champagne-Ardenne, a BSc and BSc Honours in Applied Physics from Robert Gordon University, and a Master II in Chimie de l'Environnement et Développement Durable from Université Savoie Mont Blanc.
