Jérôme Vaillant

Jérôme Vaillant is a project manager and senior expert in optical instrumentation at CEA-Leti, where they focus on developing holographic imaging solutions. A graduate of École Centrale Marseille in 1996, Jérôme earned a doctorate in astrophysics from Université Grenoble Alpes in 2002. They began their career at STMicroelectronics in 2000, contributing to image sensor development before transitioning to CEA in 2011, where they worked as a senior scientist in CMOS image sensors and organic photodiodes. Jérôme obtained their Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches in 2017 and has served as a research director since 2022.
