Dr. Pascal Pochet is currently a Research Director at CEA and a researcher at Université Grenoble Alpes. They received an engineering degree in chemistry from ENSCL school in Lille in 1992 and completed a PhD focusing on ball-milling induced phase transformation from 1993 to 1997. Since joining CEA in 1999, they have specialized in atomistic simulations related to point defect engineering and nanostructure growth, contributing to over 80 published papers and co-inventing 5 patents. Their work primarily involves applying Kinetic Lattice Monte Carlo and DFT methods for microelectronics and energy applications.
