Patrick Chaton is currently the Director of Application Partnerships in the Technological Research Division at the Commissariat à l'énergie atomique et aux énergies alternatives. From 2017 to 2024, they served as the Head of the Department of Technologies for Biology and Health at CEA-Leti, focusing on the development of new technologies for decision-making in healthcare. Patrick has also held various leadership roles at CEA, where they constructed partnership strategies across multiple sectors, including healthcare and agriculture, and launched regional technology transfer initiatives. They hold an engineering degree in Photonics from École centrale de Marseille and a doctorate in Optics and Photonics from Aix-Marseille Université.
