Simon Ruel

Simon RUEL is an experienced engineer specializing in plasma etching for power electronics, currently working at Leti since November 2018. In this role, Simon contributes to a project focused on developing GaN-based power transistors. Prior to this, Simon interned at Leti, where initial developments in plasma etching processes for GaN projects were undertaken. Additional experience includes a research assistant position at the Centre for Advanced Nanotechnology, working on electrochemical water depollution projects, and an internship at Winoa in packaging operations. Simon holds an engineering degree in Materials Science from ENSICAEN and a Master 2 in Materials - Nanoscience & Energy from Université de Caen Normandie.
