Simon Thomas

Simon Thomas is a seasoned Research Engineer at CEA since September 2021, with prior experience as an Engineer and Project Manager at iskn from July 2014 to September 2021. Simon's expertise encompasses electronic hardware and software engineering, demonstrated through various roles including freelance work in FPGA architecture and localizing systems, along with significant projects at CEA involving RF modules and molten glass parameter measurement. Previous internships at Xerox, STMicroelectronics, and TES Electronic Solutions have contributed to a robust background in embedded systems and RFID technology. Simon holds a Master’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Grenoble INP - UGA and has completed a 6-month exchange program at KTH Royal Institute of Technology.
