Stéphane Hua

Stéphane HUA is an experienced researcher in immunology and OMICs, currently serving as a Chercheur en immunologie et OMICs at CEA since December 2021. Previously, Stéphane held the position of Research Fellow at CEA from February 2019 to September 2021, focusing on the role of inflammation and immune activation in HIV-1/SIV infection. At the Ragon Institute of MGH, MIT and Harvard, from September 2015 to December 2018, Stéphane investigated the antiviral properties of Interferon-α against HIV-1. An earlier role at INSERM involved managing innovative projects on HIV controllers, while earlier in Stéphane's career, positions as a Junior Project Manager in immunology and microbiology provided foundational experience in vaccine immunogenicity and pathogenic E. coli respectively. Stéphane holds a Ph.D. in Immunology from Paris-Sud University and an agronomy engineering degree from AgroParisTech, supplemented by international studies in microbiology and immunology at Penn State University.
