Toby Dixon is a Doctoral Student at UCL since September 2023 and has been involved as a Stagiare at CEA from April 2022, focusing on data analysis for the CUPID, CUPID-Mo, CROSS, and BINGO experiments. Prior to this, Toby worked as a Stagiare at IJCLab from November 2021 to April 2022, where the work centered on data analysis from the CUPID-Mo experiment, including a search for double beta decays and the development of the CUPID-Mo background model. Toby gained research experience as a Research Assistant at the University of California, Berkeley, from September 2018 to September 2021, collaborating on Monte-Carlo simulations and background source modeling for the CUPID-Mo project, as well as running simulations for the CUPID experiment. Toby earned a Bachelor's degree in Physics from the University of California, Berkeley, between 2017 and 2020 and completed A-Levels at Ilford County High School from 2014 to 2016.
