J. Patrick Michaels is the Founder, Chairman, and CEO of CEA Group, a family of financial services companies. They have held this leadership role since 1973, overseeing operations in corporate finance and financial services. Previously, they served as Chairman of Video Jukebox Network from 1986 to 1996 and as Vice President of Cable TV at TM Communications/Times Mirror Corporation from 1968 to 1972. J. Patrick Michaels holds a BA (Honors) in Political Science from Tulane University and a MA in Communications from the University of Pennsylvania, along with an honorary MA degree from Saint Leo University.
