Skylar Knight

Skylar Knight has a diverse background in mechanical engineering and project management. They began their career as a Co-op Student at Agility Fuel Systems in 2009 and then worked as an Engineering Student at Black & McDonald in 2010. In 2011, Skylar worked as a Designer at Water Park Toys before transitioning to a role as a Mechanical Engineer, P.Eng at Intricate Group in 2013. At Intricate Group, they gained experience in various calculations, audits, emergency response planning, and project management. In 2017, Skylar joined Capital Engineering (Partnership) as a Mechanical Engineer, P.Eng, where they worked on sustaining capital projects and small-scale projects for Keyera Corp as a secondee. In 2019, they joined Keyera as a Mechanical Engineer // Project Manager, where they supported maintenance, operations, and inspection, and actively participated in the management of change process. Recently, Skylar has become the Director of Mechanical Engineering at Ceapro since 2023, where they oversee the mechanical engineering department.

Skylar Knight pursued their education between 2006 and 2012 at The University of British Columbia, where they obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
