Vikrant Deshpande has had a diverse range of work experience in various organizations. Vikrant began their career at Moser Baer India Ltd as an Engineer, where they handled production control, planning, and manpower handling. Vikrant then moved on to Saint-Gobain Abrasives, where they worked as an Industrial Engineer. At Hyva, they were an Assistant Manager in Industrial Engineering, responsible for project execution and continuous process improvement. Vikrant later joined CEAT Tyres Limited as a Senior Manager in Business Excellence, coordinating strategy formation, process design, and problem-solving projects. Vikrant then worked at JSW Steel as a Senior Manager in Business Excellence. Currently, they are employed at CEAT Limited as the Head Academy QBM, driving TQM, TPM, and Lean activities, and leading the implementation of the Deming Grand Activity and industry 4.0 initiatives. Throughout their career, Vikrant has demonstrated their ability to lead teams, identify root causes, and develop value-added solutions.
Vikrant Deshpande has a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from the Bombay Technical Education Board, which they obtained from 1998 to 2001. Vikrant also has a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Karnataka University, Dharwad. Additionally, they have a Post Graduate diploma in quality management from the Mahindra Institute of Quality. Vikrant Deshpande is also a certified Six Sigma Black Belt from ASQ - World Headquarters. Vikrant obtained the PGDQM certification from the Mahindra Institute of Quality in 2015.

CEAT Limited is engaged in manufacturing and sale of automotive tires, tubes and flaps. The Company manufactures radials for a range of vehicles. It offers products for light commercial vehicles (LCVs), motorcycles, scooters, cars, farm vehicles and trailers, off the road (OTR)/specialty vehicles and trucks, among others. It has capacity to produce approximately 95, 000 tires per day. The CEAT Bike tires include CEAT Zoom, CEAT Zoom Tubeless, F67, F85, Milaze, Secura Sport and Secura Zoom, among others. Its scooter tire range includes Gripp and Zoom D. Its car tire range includes BT, Czar AT, Czar HT, Rhino and Rhino TQ. It offers Buland and Buland Mile XL RIB for LCVs. It offers Anmol SL and Buland Mile XL for autos. Its tire range for farm and agriculture vehicle includes Aayushmaan Front, Aayushmaan Rear, Samraat Front and Samraat Super Front. It has developed OTR or specialty tires for mining, quarrying, rock excavation, construction and port applications.
