Bruce E. Dumdei, PhD, is a seasoned environmental professional with extensive experience in air quality and environmental consulting. Currently retired since January 2023, Dumdei serves as Vice President at Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. since July 2017, and previously held the position of Executive Vice President of Training at Sage Environmental Consulting from August 2013 to July 2017. With a strong background in the chemical, petroleum, pipeline, steel, and energy sectors, Dumdei has also contributed as a Principal in air quality roles at ENVIRON and URS Corporation. Dumdei began an impactful career in environmental management with ENSR, now known as AECOM, where responsibilities included serving as the Air Quality Manager for the Central Region. Dumdei earned a PhD in Environmental Sciences and Resources - Chemistry from Portland State University and a BA in Chemistry from St. Olaf College.
