Mary Guinee is the Strategic Development Officer at Civil & Environmental Consultants. Mary has over 25 years of experience in environmental consulting, health and safety, and project management.

Mary started their career as an Environmental Scientist with SRW Associates in 1985. Mary assisted clients with environmental investigation projects and helped them develop Right to Know/Hazard Communication Programs, including training. In 1986, they became the Health and Safety Officer at ICF Kaiser where they were responsible for developing and implementing health and safety plans at Superfund and RCRA sites.

In 1988, Mary left ICF Kaiser to become a Haz Mat Trainer with the Center for Hazardous Materials Research (CHMR). There they developed and presented HAZWOPER (OSHA 1910.120) training classes. The following year they became a Project Manager with SE Technologies where they were responsibile for performing Environmental Assessments of commercial and industrial real estate.

In 1993, Mary left SE Technologies to join Civil & Environmental Consultants as a Strategic Development Officer, where they have been responsible for leading the growth of the firm’s strategic development initiatives and expanding its market share.

After completing their undergraduate degree in environmental science at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, Mary Guinee may go on to pursue a career in the field or continue their education with a graduate degree.

Mary Guinee reports to Kenneth R. Miller, President & CEO . They are on a team with Keith Robinson - VP Safety, Harry J. Soose - CFO , and Aj Mcdade - Chief Marketing Officer.
