Michael Worden

Michael Worden is a seasoned professional in the field of environmental consulting, currently serving as a Senior Project Manager at Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. since January 2020. In this role, Michael manages client relationships, develops new business opportunities, oversees projects, mentors junior staff, and provides strategic direction across various sectors including real estate, manufacturing, and energy. Prior to this, Michael worked at Environeering, Inc. as a Project Manager and Environmental Geologist, offering technical advice on environmental strategies and regulatory compliance. Michael's earlier experience includes positions as a Project and Staff Geologist at SEI Environmental, Inc., where responsibilities involved managing strategy and compliance for numerous client locations, and as a Transportation Engineering Geologist for the NC Department of Transportation. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Geological and Earth Sciences/Geosciences from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
