Hagar Setty is currently a postdoctoral researcher at CECAD Cologne in Prof. Björn Schumacher’s lab, where they focus on fertility and embryonic development. Hagar completed their PhD at the Weizmann Institute of Science from 2021 to 2025, conducting research on sexual dimorphism in the nervous system using molecular biology, genetics, and neuronal tools. They also hold a Master's degree in Life Sciences from the Weizmann Institute of Science and a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry and Food Science from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
