Ed Sykes

Ed Sykes is an enterprise software executive with over 15 years of experience in senior management roles across startups and public companies. They served as Senior Vice President and Chief Scientist at OPNET Technologies, where they managed product strategy, mergers and acquisitions, and intellectual property initiatives. Previously, Sykes held the position of Chief Technology Officer at Make Systems, leading the company to a lucrative buy-out by OPNET. They also gained extensive academic experience as an Associate Professor of Research at the University of Virginia, where they led a major research group and successfully secured federal funding.
