CED (Council for Entrepreneurial Development)
CED connects entrepreneurial companies with high-value resources to accelerate business growth. CED services and programs (including Connections to Capital, GRO Incubator and Founder Mentoring) empower partner companies to go further faster. Partners of CED are fueling tomorrow’s success stories by investing in today’s ecosystem. With over 400 active partners, CED is the largest and longest-running network for entrepreneurs in the country. CED’s network includes a wide range of entrepreneurial companies, maturing enterprises, corporate partners, investors, academics, service providers and other organizations interested in entrepreneurship. Take some time to meet a few of the stars of our network, and be sure to check out our newsfeed for the latest industry developments. As a leading data collector of entrepreneurial activity in the US, CED identifies trends, presents findings, and maps North Carolina’s flourishing ecosystem through the CED Innovators Report. CED was founded in 1984, and later incorporated as a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization.
