Michael Eddy

Michael Eddy is a seasoned corporate affairs leader with nearly 20 years of experience in government and the natural resources sector, specializing in stakeholder engagement, public affairs, regulatory policy, and sustainability. Currently, they serve as the Head of External Affairs for Cedar LNG, overseeing relationships with various government levels and Indigenous communities for Canada's largest Indigenous majority-owned infrastructure project. Previously, they held significant roles at Shell and LNG Canada, where they facilitated partnerships essential to major energy projects. Michael also contributed to international development efforts in Afghanistan and Haiti while working with the Canadian government. They hold a Master of Arts and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of British Columbia, along with a Certificate in Business and Sustainability Leadership from the University of Cambridge.
