Derek Dice

Derek Dice has extensive work experience in the amusement park industry. Derek started their career as a Lead Ride Operations Supervisor at Geauga Lake And Wild Water Kingdom in 2002 and worked there until 2007. Derek then moved on to Kings Dominion as a Maintenance Technician from 2007 to 2011. Derek gained experience as a Controls Technician at Cedar Point Amusement Park from 2011 to 2015. Derek then joined Universal Orlando Resort, where they served as an Associate Project Manager from 2015 to 2017 and later as a Tech Services Ride and Show Supervisor from 2017 to 2023. Derek currently holds the role of Director of Ride and Electrical Maintenance at Cedar Point Amusement Park since 2023. Additionally, they worked as an Adjunct Instructor at John Tyler Community College from 2010 to 2011.

Derek Dice attended The Ohio State University from 2001 to 2006, completing a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering.
