Jim Sumser

Jim Sumser has extensive work experience in the facilities maintenance and carpentry field. Jim started their career as a Carpenter with the Indiana/Kentucky/Ohio Regional Council Of Carpenters in 1990 and worked there until 1999. In 1999, they joined Cedar Fair Entertainment Company as a Carpenter Foreman and later transitioned to Cedar Point in the same role. Jim worked as a Carpenter Foreman at Cedar Point until 2016 when they became the Facilities Maintenance Manager. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Facilities Maintenance at Cedar Point Amusement Park, a role they have been serving in since May 2021.

Jim Sumser attended Ehove Career Center/OhioCarpenters Training Center from 1988 to 1990. However, no degree or field of study was specified for this period.
