Daniel Jabens, MOL, MCJ, has over 25 years of law enforcement experience, currently serving as a Lieutenant and Hazardous Devices Unit Commander with the City of Cedar Rapids since March 1997. Prior to this role, Daniel served as a Sergeant and Police Officer within the same department and began a law enforcement career as a Police Officer at Monticello Police Department from December 1995 to March 1997. Daniel also served in the United States Marine Corps from June 1988 to June 1994. Academic credentials include a Master of Criminal Justice and Master of Organizational Leadership from St. Ambrose University, a Bachelor of Business Administration from Hamilton College of Business, and an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Criminal Justice/Police Science from the same institution, along with a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from Iowa State University.
