Gregory Smith

Gregory Smith has extensive experience in fire service and emergency management, showcasing a progressive career with the City of Cedar Rapids since July 1994, where roles have included Fire Chief, Assistant Fire Chief, Battalion Chief, Fire Captain, and Firefighter. Additionally, Gregory served as an Adjunct Instructor at Kirkwood Community College from October 2014 to August 2019 and again from July 1995 to August 2010. Previous roles include Paid on Call Firefighter with the City of Marion, Volunteer Firefighter with the City of Ankeny, and Safety Coordinator at Donnelly Marketing.
