Kate Schaefer has extensive experience in human resources, currently serving as a Human Resources Generalist at the City of Cedar Rapids since February 2018, following the role of Human Resources Specialist II. Prior to this, Kate worked as a Human Resources Assistant at Mercycare Community Physicians from August 2015 to February 2018 and at Ruffalo Noel Levitz from August 2014 to August 2015. Academic accomplishments include a Master of Business Administration from the University of Dubuque, earned between June 2021 and December 2022, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Coe College, completed in 2014.
