Vaughn Dougherty

Vaughn Dougherty is an experienced Right of Way Technician II with a career spanning over two decades in the telecommunications and engineering sectors. Currently employed by the City of Cedar Rapids since May 2016, Vaughn has effectively managed project design and coordination for underground facilities. Previously, Vaughn held the position of Engineer II at Century Link from 2001 to 2016, focusing on the placement of copper and fiber optic infrastructure in eastern Iowa. Earlier roles as a Field Engineer at McLeodUSA and Newcom involved obtaining state permits and conducting route mapping for CATV inventory. Vaughn holds an educational background from Southeastern Community College and Hamilton High School.
